Blogfestivus 2012: Day1: Dasher

A group of nine reindeer moved towards India for a fun vacation….The herd being led by the most dashing personality among them and rightly named Dasher. Dasher was always looking for opportunities to pose and stop for a camera shoot whenever he saw a human with anything remotely related to the word ‘Click’. Everybody impressed by his dashing personality seemed to believe he was the best among them and the best leader to be.

Reindeers had never been to India before…..and from the sky what Dasher noticed was a big shine from something below….it seemed like a flash of light….and yes….Dasher was all ready to give his best pose in this unexplored land….He ordered his troop in a strong voice…..”Forward March!!!”

All the reindeers zoomed behind Dasher heading towards their dream vacation….Dasher was heading with the speed of light….towards the light from ground….he imagined all the great poses he would showcase…and all the female reindeers in the area running after him once they see his dashing personality….

When he got nearer to ground…he closed his eyes and jumped straight giving a smiling pose….then there was a sudden thud….he bammed on the a sinking floor….he opened his eyes….and saw himself surrounded by sand, sand and more sand everywhere. And a little tin can throwing away a flash light in the mid of desert. He had made everybody land in piping hot deserts of Rajasthan…

Dasher needs GPS. I hope the rest of the reindeer go easy on him. 🙂

Ha! Vanity will get ’em every time!

I liked the take on Dasher as dashing rather than being fast. We’re always done in by vanity.
